Bath Night
Anthony Horowitz
Horror
Her parents bought a beautiful victorian bathtub at a very low price. But that process included a lot of fighting, as always, and despite it all, she didn’t like it. To Isabel, it was much too out of place, and it was really eerie. She unwillingly decided to take a bath one night, and decided that it couldn’t be too bad. But was it really not that bad? That first night gave Isabel nightmares, which only led to sparking her curiosity of the origins of this victorian tub. She finds out what she had feared all along, and what only made everything much more worse. The bathtub’s history was her worst nightmare.
“Bath Night” is a story that at first seems mundane, but actually turns out to be a sufficient horror story. The way Horowitz progresses through the events makes the reader ask more questions until they realize the devastating event at the end.
