"Light Moves" Teaser

Light Moves

Anthony Horowitz

Horror

A journalist death wasn’t unexpected, but it meant a lot of things. Most importantly, it meant that Dad could bring home the journalist’s old computer to give to Henry. It was a shabby old computer, springs protruding out here and there. Henry, because he was a teen, had no intention of using it because it couldn’t even run the simplest game. So he tucked it away in the corner of his room. That night, it turned on, despite that the power cord wasn’t plugged in. “CASABLANCA,” the screen read. The name of a horse that won the race the next day. Henry figures this fortunate phenomena and decides to use it to its full extent. However, cheating and gambling never turns out to be a good idea, even if it means at a cost of something much more valuable.
