It was going to be the best party of the year, and possibly of their lives. Nick and Jeremy Hancock begged their father to let them go to the halloween party, and after hours of pleaded, they hopped in the car and drove to the party. 23:30 was their curfew, and both of them knew that if they returned past that time, they would be dead. Nick and Jeremy, however, certainly didn’t expect they would be amongst the dead.

This short story first catches attention with a typical pleading of teenagers.Then, it infuses regular characters into a famous English legend, which adds an interesting, even a little humorous aspect of the story. The character’s realistic reactions to events make the reader seem like he or she is actually in the story.
